I grew up in the north East of England and have lived in the South East with my 3 children for 33 years. I am comfortable with broaching the topic of death and dying. I am not afraid of being in the presence of a dying people. I respect people of all faiths or none and hope to enable people to have the chance to plan for a natural death in the surroundings of their choice. On a personal level I would describe myself as spiritual but not religious and because I have sense of empathy and feel I can give empathy with those in their last days. Experience of working in a care home. I would like to provide the support needed to explore and help fulfil someone’s final wishes and comfort to those who live on.
