I’m Sarah, an end-of-life doula based in Leeds.
I offer compassionate and personalised in-person support to people in West Yorkshire, and in other locations, remotely.
I work with people who are dying, but also their friends, families and colleagues, to offer practical, emotional and spiritual support.
I can help with:
- Practical matters (e.g. assisting with advance planning, or putting funeral plans in place, or even household chores)
- Advice on what to expect towards the end of your life,
- Or by simply being a supportive presence to listen, and help you navigate, what you’re going through.
I have experience of working with clients who are bereaved, and can offer support to friends and family, after someone has died, as well as before.
A bit about me: I’d describe myself as warm, open, positive and a ‘can do’ sort of person – if you need someone to help you navigate challenges, I’ve got you. I’m a good listener, and can bring empathy and a problem-solving mind to what you’re going through. I’m a people person and it’s my pleasure to help people find the little moments of joy, happiness and fulfilment in their lives, right up until the end of their life.
As well as being a doula, I work as a Innovation Director in the tech sector, am a single mum of a teenage boy, an avid reader, amateur artist and an animal lover.
