I joined End of Life Doula UK in 2025 after completing my foundation training with the Living Well Dying Well Foundation. My path to this work grew naturally from my long-standing practice as a Master KonMari® Consultant — helping people navigate life transitions, grief, and legacy with intention and care. Over time, I came to see that the process of letting go — whether of possessions, identities, or expectations — mirrors the deeper work of preparing for death and finding peace with impermanence.
Born in Los Angeles and now based in Edinburgh, I’ve lived between cultures and continents for most of my life. This cross-cultural perspective has shaped my understanding of what it means to belong, to create home, and to honour both our roots and our evolution.
My first close experiences of death came through the loss of several family members in recent years, including my father-in-law, whose final days reaffirmed my belief that dying — like living — can be approached with presence, tenderness, and meaning.
As a doula, I offer calm, compassionate, and practical support to individuals and families as they navigate the emotional and logistical realities of end of life. My approach blends the practical with the soulful — helping people organise what matters, create rituals of closure, and preserve stories and memories that continue to bring comfort and connection.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: that end-of-life care is an act of love — an opportunity to honour a person’s story, their choices, and the beauty of their legacy.
