Hello, I’m Melissa.
I believe that every life deserves to be lived fully and every ending deserves to be met with dignity, compassion, and grace.
My journey into end-of-life care began through my own experiences with loss, grief, and witnessing the profound impact that compassionate presence can have during life’s most challenging transitions. After navigating the death of my mother and supporting others through periods of change, I felt called to walk alongside people facing the end of life and those who love them.
As a certified End-of-Life Doula, I offer emotional, practical, and compassionate support to individuals and families as they navigate the final chapters of life. My role is not to fix, rescue, or take away the reality of what is happening. Instead, I create a calm, grounded space where people can be seen, heard, supported, and empowered to make choices that honour their wishes and values.
Outside of my work, you will often find me immersed in nature, wandering woodland paths, sitting beneath trees, or watching the changing seasons unfold. Nature has taught me much about life’s cycles, reminding me that endings and beginnings are often intertwined.
I am also deeply nourished by music, art, poetry, meaningful conversations, and the quiet moments that help us reconnect with ourselves. These passions influence the way I support others bringing creativity, gentleness, curiosity, and presence into my work.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: every person has a story worth honouring, a life worth celebrating, and a voice that deserves to be heard.
Whether you are facing a terminal diagnosis, supporting a loved one, planning ahead, or simply seeking guidance through uncertain times, you do not have to walk this path alone.
It would be an honour to walk beside you.
