More about me

I am a warm hearted mature woman in my 70s. I communicate openly and honestly but with kindness. If you have received a terminal diagnosis, it would be a privilege to provide emotional and practical support for you, as you make choices about how you would like to live your remaining days. What would enable you to feel complete and at peace? We could explore this together and maybe I could help facilitate this.

Death can make sense of life and inevitably brings us to the ‘Here and Now’.

I would hope to accompany you to an ending that is present and meaningful to you.

I am a qualified Death Doulla and have completed the training for the Living Well Dying Well diploma. I have some knowledge of end of life practices, so I would hope to provide practical advice if needed.

I have had the privilege of being with people, shortly before or as they passed. I have also experienced the opening and maturing that deep grief can bring.

I have a strong soul connection, and practise meditation daily. I am a member of a Diamond Approach group, which is non-sectarian.  I was brought up as a Christian, I have practised Buddhism, Hinduism and earth based Pagan rituals. My late husband’s family are Jewish.  I am interested in all religions and ways people understand their purpose in life, but I am not affiliated to any faith group now.

I used to be a special needs teacher and for 7 years I directed a children’s inclusive theatre company. I have worked with children of all abilities and disabilities throughout my working life. I have a special connection with autistic people. My eldest son and two of my grandchildren are autistic.

I am now retired and have been a widow for 6 years. I live in North London and have a large family of children and grandchildren who live locally. I oversee the care of my mother-in-law, as next of kin.

I am a well organised creative being who loves to paint, draw, make, sing, cook and grow things in the garden.

Our transition from Life to Death is one of the most sacred and momentous times of our lives, and I would be honoured to bring my creativity to support you in the final part of your life journey and to enable you to live fully until your last breath.
