Hello, I’m Karen and I’m an End of Life Doula in Training. I live in North East England and I can offer support to people in South Tyneside, County Durham, Gateshead and Sunderland. I am passionate about everyone having the opportunity to prepare for the end of their life and to be well supported. I am interested in how we can craft rituals to help make sense of life and death and our place in the universe. I have done additional training in grief support.
As an End of Life Doula I can offer support to people of all ages from different backgrounds, as they contemplate and experience the end of their life, death and grief.
I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community and can offer safe, affirming end of life, death and grief support.
I have experience working alongside learning disabled people and I have the skills and resources to make end of life care and bereavement support accessible and inclusive.
