Hello, my name is Julia and I am a Doula in training. I am at present completing module three. I have worked as a nurse in end of life elderly care for 12 years. I am able to offer support both emotionally as well as practically.
It can come as a shock when there is an unexpected diagnosis. There can be a feeling of “what happens next” or a feeling of “what do we do?”. Through my nursing experience and Doula education I am able to offer practical advice as well as emotional support to individuals as well as families.
