More about me

I am an End of Life Doula in training.  I offer calm, steady, non-judgemental support at a time that can feel frightening, uncertain, and deeply emotional. My role is not to fix or to lead, but to be present — to listen, to bear witness, and to help people feel less alone as they navigate dying, death, and the many changes that come with it.

I believe that dying deserves the same honesty, care, and attention as any other major life transition. I create a safe and gentle space where people can speak openly about what matters to them, including fears, hopes, wishes, regrets, and practical concerns. Many people find relief in being able to talk plainly about death without being rushed, corrected, or reassured away from their truth. I meet each person exactly where they are, with warmth, respect, kindness and compassion.

A key part of my work is practical, hands-on support. I help people reflect on what quality of life means to them, how they would like to be cared for, and how they want their wishes to be known and respected. This might include support with advance care planning, preparing for important or difficult conversations, or gently organising practical aspects of end-of-life in a way that feels manageable and aligned with the person’s values.

Alongside my end-of-life work, I bring more than two decades of experience as a coach, facilitator, and senior NHS manager, as well as volunteering for Macmillan Cancer Support and as a Bereavement Support Worker at a local hospice.  My experience deeply informs my ability to navigate complexity, human dynamics, and emotionally charged situations with confidence and care.

My approach is inclusive, person-centred, and non-medical, in line with the values of End of Life Doula UK. I honour each person’s individuality, beliefs, relationships, and choices. Above all, I believe everyone deserves to be heard, respected, and supported at the end of their life — and that those close to them deserve care too.

I consider it a privilege to accompany people during this profound time, please get in touch if you would like a conversation about how I can support you or your loved ones.
