I’m Claire, an End of Life Doula, NHS nurse, and yoga teacher.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked within the NHS, most recently as an advanced practitioner. My role has placed me alongside people and families during some of the most vulnerable and uncertain moments of life—times where decisions feel overwhelming and what’s often needed most is presence, and compassionate support.
Becoming an end-of-life doula felt like a natural extension of this work, while also allowing me to step beyond the pace and structure of clinical care. It enables me to offer something more personal and unhurried—support that is centred on the individual, their wishes, and what matters most to them.
I am a member of End of Life Doula UK and trained with Living Well Dying Well. My approach is grounded, and practical. I can support with advance planning, difficult conversations, advocacy, and being alongside you and your family in the final days or weeks of life—offering reassurance, continuity, and a steady presence.
At the heart of everything I offer is a simple belief—that dying is not a medical event, but a deeply human experience, and one that will be experienced by us all.
