More about me

I am an End of Life Doula in Training. My role is to offer calm and non-judgmental support at a time that can feel deeply emotional and frightening. I provide support through listening and being present, so that people may get a sense of comfort in navigating death and the challenges that surround it.

It is my belief that the process of dying merits the same care and attention as any other life transition. I offer a safe and peaceful space, where people feel heard and can speak openly about death. They can express their fears, hopes, regrets, wishes and practical concerns. I aim to meet people where they are at with kindness and compassion.

My work is centred around the needs of the person as they approach the end of their life. I help people become clear about what quality of life means to them, how they would like to be cared for, and how they want their wishes to be known and carried out. This might include support with advance care planning, preparing for important or difficult conversations, or gently organising practical aspects of end-of-life in a way that feels manageable and aligned with their values.

My work is deeply informed by my personal experience in having walked alongside loved ones on their end-of-life journey in addition to working as a volunteer for Macmillan Cancer Support. I also draw extensively from my 10+ year experience as a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach where I have had the privilege to support people with complex health issues in a compassionate and person-centred way.

My approach as an End-of-Life Doula is inclusive, person-centred, and non-medical, in line with the values of End of Life Doula UK. I feel strongly that each person’s individuality, beliefs, relationships, and choices must be honoured. Most importantly, I believe everyone deserves to be heard and supported at the end of their life and that those close to them deserve care too.

Please get in touch if you would like a conversation about how I can support you or your loved ones.
