I’m here to support you in preparing for your end of life in a way that honours the life you’ve lived. Together we will find the end of life care that matches your needs.
As a doula I’ll be your physical, emotional and spiritual companion as you ready yourself for the transition that death presents. I’d welcome taking on domestic tasks, being a listener, unpacking legal and medical processes, advocating for your aspirations in these situations, and / or creating time to consider any advanced planning wishes you may have.
I’m an End of Life Doula in training, having completed my foundation course in early 2025. I came to this work through being an End of Life Celebrant for over a decade, and feel my skills from working as a coach and facilitator in creative expression give me a practice in listening to and supporting people through complicated times of life. I believe our inherent creativity can help us to understand how our place in the world is continually evolving and how we can best enjoy and engage with the cycles of life and death. Change is an inevitable part of all our lives, and I believe any change is best served when we can think and act creatively – with curiosity and open minds.
I have a great love and respect for the natural world and all of us who share it. My Buddhist practice upholds my faith in loving kindness, compassion and equanimity. I believe there is an art to suffering and that is to embrace the pains and joys in any moment.
I live in South Cumbria and am able to travel around Cumbria, North Lancashire and into North Yorkshire.
