Hi, I’m Emily Louise.
I am an autistic, queer woman with personal experience of living with multiple chronic illnesses, mental and physical. I strive to provide practical support and quiet comfort to similar individuals during your last journey, providing assurance of empathetic understanding with your life experience. As one neurodivergent individual to another, you can be assured of understanding and safety from judgement.
I am a certified End of Life Companion (having completed the EoL Doula UK Foundation Training Course, a registered Crossfields Institute Quality Mark qualification) and am currently undertaking the further Diploma Course. You can also find me listed in the National Autism Society’s service directoy.
I also offer my services as a Pet Loss Doula, certified to provide Pet Loss Support by the Blue Cross, and with experience of having operated a Pet Bereavement Service for a number of years – providing both practical and bereavement support to over 200 pet owners.
I hold a BA in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic from the University of Cambridge, and an MA in Cultural Heritage from the University of York.
I enjoy history, creative writing, reading, sewing, gardening, RPG video games, cooking, stuffed animals, playing with my cats, and falling down true crime podcast rabbit-holes!
