Vicky Jackson

During the past 30 years I have raised two children and run a successful Fair Trade Clothing Company.  I am based on the Devon Cornwall Border and have recently completed the Living Well Dying Well Foundation Training Course.  I am passionate about growing food and living in harmony with the land and all its inhabitants.  I have travelled widely but now feel more connected to the land here at home.

My interest in Death and Dying was sparked 10 years ago when I attended a weekend workshop entitled Dying to Live.  We examined our own thoughts and feelings around our own death and the death of loved ones.  By the end of this weekend I was ignited by the sense that confronting death leads to a more fulfilled life.  The Foundation training has begun to prepare me to accompany people as they move towards the end of their lives.  I feel that it is a privilege to do this and appreciate that it is a role of mutual benefit.  I would welcome the opportunity to accompany someone on their journey.
