I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor and have experience of working with individuals around bereavement and grief. I also offer 1:1 and group clinical supervision to counsellors and volunteers who work with bereavement and grief.
I have worked closely with those who misuse alcohol or drugs, including supporting those who may have a life limiting illness, as a result of their misuse. I also offer support to their carers or worker, offering space to explore and acknowledge the loss of their client, through compassionate enquiry
I have a special interest in supporting individuals who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, who are Voice Hearers and/or experience an alternative reality, or who have other complex mental health challenges.
I can offer support with Advance Planning for end of life.
My passion lies in providing space for the individual and their loved ones (if wanted) to feel held, understood, accompanied and prized throughout the dying process.
I have personal experience of loss and being present with a dying relative.
